Explosion Occurs Near Israeli Embassy in Copenhagen

A blast occurred near the Israeli embassy in Copenhagen on Monday, marking the one-year anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel.

The explosion happened about 500 meters from the embassy, following two previous explosions near the site for which two Swedish nationals are in custody.

Copenhagen police are investigating a possible connection but currently find no evidence linking the incidents. Initial assessments suggest the blast may have resulted from gunfire. Three Swedish nationals were detained last week, with two remanded in custody for 27 days, while the third has been released.
