Exchanged Views: MoE UM received EEC delegation

Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin received a delegation led by Member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics Mr. Sergei GLAZEV from the Eurasian Economic Commission at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw in the evening on 10th April.

During the meeting, both sides cordially exchanged views on the matters to accelerate the strategic cooperation in the Energy sector between Myanmar and member countries of The Eurasian Economic Commission, construction of oil refinery and distribution of petroleum products in Myanmar, importing LNG for domestic utilization and the market related matters on the distribution of natural gas to the regional countries, conducting research works at the crude oil and natural gas fields with the declining rate and to accelerate the rate in the good potential ones, matters on willingness of Russian companies in Energy sector and the conceptions on the existence of fossil fuel.
