





A seminar on the evidences of Bronze and Iron Ages for compiling successive Myanmar history was held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture on Tuesday. Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko, Deputy Minister Daw Nu Mra Zan, departmental officials, experts, officers and staff attended the event.
At the discussion, the Union Minister said that as the discussion will focus on the findings on the Bronze and Iron Ages which have been a gap in Myanmar history, it is important for the successive history of Myanmar. The Union Minister invited the people from various fields and the new generation staffs to participate in the discussion.
According to joint excavation research with international experts from 1998 to 2020, there was the Bronze and Iron Ages which were gap in Myanmar history.He expressed his belief that the correct and full evidences that were transformed step by step according to the Myanmar history will be revealed to the public.
The Bronze and Iron Ages have been drafted as a strong record of research findings from international labs and terms. He said that such kind of seminars and research activities are very important so that all needs to cooperate more. Then, the Director of the Department of Archaeology and National Museum and the researcher who jointly conducted research reported on the evidences on findings from digging of Bronze and Iron Ages before Myanma history. Archaeologist U Pauk Pauk supplemented on the report and attendees also made discussions.
