EU expresses condolences to families of victims of Brussels "terrorist attack"

At the start of the EU press point with Armenian Prime Minister, the EU Parliament expressed her condolences to the families of the victims of the Brussels Attack in which two Swedish nationals were killed and one other injured.

Roberta Metsola, President of the EU Parliament said " Let me first start by expressing our condolences on behalf of the European Parliament to the victims' families of the terror attack on Swedish nationals last night in Brussels. We wish the injured person a prompt recovery. We will commemorate the victims, in the plenary at noon, with the strongest of messages that terror and extremism cannot infiltrate our societies and we have the right to feel safe and live in safety." The two people of Swedish nationally were killed in Saintelette, in the north west of the capital and a third person, a taxi driver, was injured in the shooting.
