EU energy ministers gather in Prague

European Union Energy ministers gathered in Prague of the Czech Republic to discuss a possible EU agreement on energy prices to be announced and endorsed by the bloc's leaders at next week's summit.

Ministers at the two-day informal meeting were to discuss a gas price cap among other measures. European leaders have flocked to countries like Norway, Qatar, Azerbaijan and especially those in North Africa, where Algeria has a pipeline running to Italy and another to Spain.
