EU chief Ursula von der Leyen meets European car industry leaders

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen met automotive industry leaders for a "Strategic Dialogue on the Future of the Automotive Industry" in Brussels on Friday. The meeting comes with the industry in the midst of an uncertain effort at decarbonisation, with Europe's biggest carmakers seeking a revision of plans to end combustion-engine vehicle sales by 2035.
