





The regions/states ethnic culture delegations that will perform their traditional dances at the Diamond Jubilee Union Day ceremony arrived at the sport training centre in Zabuthiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area on Thursday.
The officials of the subcommittee for reception, transport and communications, information subcommittee, Department of Ethnic Literature and Culture and Department of Fine Arts welcomed them with Ozi (drum) and Dobet (traditional music troupe) and placed at the designated wards.
There are 285 performers who will perform traditional dances at the ceremony – 39 from Yangon Region, 33 from Kachin State, 28 from Kayah State, 40 from Kayin State, 37 from Chin State, 34 from Mon State, 35 from Rakhine State and 39 from Shan State.
They all arrived at the residence. The Ministry of Information opens a library and Sarpay Beikman book shop at the administrative building and the Ministry of Health opens the medical clinic and traditional medicine clinic for the delegates.
