Ethnic Affairs in Mon State: MoEA Union Minister meets the staffs

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung together with officials met the staffs who are serving in the Mon State Director office of the Ministry on Monday.

In his guidance, the Union Minister said that the staffs need to understand the objectives and responsibilities of the department and carry out the tasks successfully.

The Union Minister called for serving the duties responsibly while understanding the national work programs, 5-point road maps and 12-objectives implemented by the state and to use the state budgets in line with financial rules and regulations. He also called for security and heath sectors of the staffs, making efforts for ethnic affairs with a genuine union spirit and peace process of the state.

Later, the Mon State Ethnic Affairs Minister U Khin Maung Oo explained about implementations of ethnic affairs in Mon State. And then, the staff reported general affairs and officials reported on office works and future work programs.

In response to the reports, the Union Minister coordinated essentials and presented cash assistance for Literature and Cultural troupes in Mon State to promote literature and cultural affairs.
