





Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, met with the staff from the Regional Director Office of the Ministry in Kamayut Township, Yangon, on Sunday.
During the meeting, the Union Minister delivered a speech in which he emphasized the importance of equipping staff with the necessary capabilities in alignment with their positions. He called upon all staff to fulfill their respective duties as part of their commitment to building a democratic and federal union.
In response to the reports presented by the staff, the Union Minister and the Director-General of the Ethnic Literature and Culture Department addressed the needs. Later in the afternoon, the Union Minister, accompanied by the Deputy Minister and officials, visited the Union National Races Village (Yangon) in Thaketa Township.
During the visit, they inspected a recently constructed pontoon bridge and provided necessary instructions. They also assessed the progress of renovation works on traditional houses representing various ethnic groups, including Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Bamar, Mon, Rakhine, and Shan nationals. Additionally, they reviewed the developments at the Union Hall and Palace Tower within the village.
