Ethnic Affairs: Meeting with ethnic literature and culture organizations

Member of the State Security and Peace Commission Union Minister for Border Affairs and Ethnic Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae met with leaders of ethnic literature and culture organizations at the Kachin State Government Office in Myitkyina on Friday.

During the meeting, the Union Minister and officials discussed the importance of unity among all ethnic groups, preservation of ethnic literature and culture, and the need for peace and development in ethnic regions. Ethnic leaders from Kachin, Shan, Bamar, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine and others presented their needs and challenges regarding cultural preservation and development.

During the meeting, honorary cash assistance were provided to the ethnic literature and culture groups.
