Ethical Recruitment Process: Workshop on International Recruitment Integrity System

19th Workshop on International Recruitment Integrity System (IRIS) was held in Yangon on Thursday.

Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung attended the event, jointly organized by the Ministry and International Organization for Migration (IOM). The Union Minister urged all to strive for systematic data compiling of oversea workers, while abiding by the law and regulations in labour recruitment process.

The IRIS workshop has been organized for the Overseas Employment Agencies to ensure ethical recruitment process in line with the rules and regulations. It also discussed the process of Labour Complaint Mechanism and IRIS Management Frameworks.
