eSchool Application: Training Of Trainers Workshop On eSchool Application

A Training of Trainers (TOT) Workshop on eSchool application took place on Friday at the seminar room of Yangon University of Education.

This is the second edition of training workshop on eSchool application at the University for over 60 lecturers and admin staffs. The application is a school management system targeted to be used by admin staffs from student affairs department and students from public and private schools, universities and colleges.

Pro-rector, Yangon University of Education, Pyone Pyone Aung said “The application is useful for administrative works such as students’ information, their attendance and announcements on tutorials and exams. Administration can be finished on time and effective as it is easy to use. This is the second training. We are expecting to use the application starting from the upcoming academic year.”

The eSchool application systematically stores the information of students, their attendance, tutorial and exam time tables and exam marks. Moreover, students can make enrolments through the application. It will also be further developed into new functions such as school fees payment and information of lectures for various subjects.

Trainer, eSchool Application, Phone Pyae Oo said “Students can check their attendance through mobile application. It can reduce the paperwork, and computerization is needed in schools and universities. Information on students is easily accessible. Students can make access to their information on academic history and certificates, diplomas and degrees whenever needed.”

The eSchool mobile application can only be used online and eSchool web portal is also available for desktop users.
