Erecting Landmark of 2 Seas: SAC Chairman attended erecting Landmark of 2 Seas

Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accompanied by wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, council joint-secretary Lt. Gen. Ye Win Oo and wife, council members, Union Ministers graced the ceremony of erecting Landmark at Coco Island Junction Point of two seas (Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal) in the morning on April 9.

First, the SAC Chairman, wife and entourage arrived at Coco Kyun Township and were welcome by the Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Commander of Yangon Command Ma-J Gen. Zaw Hein and officials, Coco Kyun Township departmental officials, local residents and towship elders. At the lounge of Cocokyun Airport, SAC Chairman Prime Minister and wife provided foodstuff for the locals to have lunch and the responsible officials accepted.

Then, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister, wife and party arrived at the victorious point of Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and were welcome by the officials of local naval command, students, maritime youth and drum and bugle corps.

Then, a responsible official explained reasons of emerging commemorating Landmark at Coco Island Junction Point of two seas and the Yangon Region Chief Minister and Commander In Chief (Navy) unveiled the opening ceremony of Landmark at Coco Island Junction Point of two seas by cutting ceremonial ribbon.

Next, the Chairman of State Administration Council, Prime Minister opened the commemorative Landmark at Coco Island Junction Point of two seas (Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal) by pressing auto button. Next, the Commander In Chief (Navy) presented memorable gift commemorating of the opening ceremony of Landmark at Coco Island Junction Point, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister, wife and party sprinkled with scented water at the Landmark.

Next, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister, wife and party inspected construction of earth road between Bying Island and Gery Island and gave necessary guidance on the reports of responsible officials. Then, the SAC Chairman and party inspected the site of old Cocokyun jail and buildings restored in original form.

Next, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and party watched the documentary video clip recorded the underwater sceneries and marine creatures and a responsible person explained on it.  In responding to the explanation, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister gave necessary instructions.
