Erdogan hosts Sudan's Sovereignty Council Chief Burhan in Ankara

Turkish President Erdoğan received Abdulfettah el Burhan, Chief of Sudan’s Sovereignty Council, at the Presidential Complex in Ankara on Thursday.

The discussions focused on Sudan’s ongoing civil war and deepening humanitarian crisis, with both leaders discussing steps to achieve inclusive and lasting peace in the country. Regional and global issues, particularly the Gaza ceasefire and humanitarian aid situation, were also on the agenda.
