Turkish President Erdogan on Saturday attended a ceremony in Adiyaman province to deliver newly built post-quake homes, reaffirming the government's commitment to supporting survivors of the 2023 earthquakes.

Erdogan said the target is 453,000 units by the end of the year. According to Türkiye's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, more than 715,000 buildings were affected, with 200,000 destroyed or too damaged to repair. Most were civilian homes, requiring the construction of 680,000 new housing units.
