Equal Learning Opportunities: MOE Union Minister meets with education officers

Union Minister for Education, Dr. Nyunt Pe, held a meeting with the Rectors, Principals, and Education Officers of Regions and States on Thursday.
During the meeting, the Union Minister appreciated the collaborative efforts of teachers which contributed to the successful administration of the 2023-2024 matriculation exams, as well as exams in universities and colleges under the ministry.
He emphasized the importance of making necessary preparations for the upcoming academic year, with a commitment to advancing educational initiatives. He highlighted the need to address the concerns of students who were unable to sit for previous matriculation exams due to security reasons, ensuring they are provided with an opportunity to take the exams at designated regional and state centers.
Furthermore, he called for the cooperation of all stakeholders in the education sector to foster its development, emphasizing the importance of providing equal learning opportunities for all students.
