Pre Monsoon greening activity was held in Shwe Pyi Soe Village of Kawthaung township on 29th May.
Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko and officials together with Forest Department staff, members of Maternal and Child Welfare Association and Myanmar Women's Affairs Committee and the local people planted the saplings at the designated places near the environs of 7-mile golf course.
Altogether 550 saplings of mahogany, hardwoods, Manjansha and shade trees for the greening project.
