Environmental Conservation: Chief Minister participates in 2nd event in Taunggyi

For environmental greening and groundwater conservation in Taunggyi, Shan State Government held the 2nd monsoon tree-planting event at the Bird Sanctuary.

During the event, Chief Minister U Aung Aung said that so far 42,890 trees have already been planted in 57 tree-planting events in Shan State for the 2024 monsoon season and 3 more events will be held. In this event, 630 trees were planted. Tree-planting events are being held in regions and states for environmental conservation.
