Enhancing Friendship: Meeting with Myanmar-India Friendship Association

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing received a delegation led by Chairman of Myanmar-India Friendship Association U Win Myint at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on August 15th.

During the meeting, the Union Minister appreciated the supports of Indian Government in assisting necessary technologies and experts for e-ID system in Myanmar. They also discussed to strengthen friendship and cooperation for the benefits of the two countries.

After making clarification on current working processes of the association by the Chairman of India-Myanmar Friendship Association, the Union Minister coordinated the requirement. Later, the Union Minister accepted cash donations contributed by the association for earthquake affected departmental staff and returned the certificates of honour.
