Enhancing Fishery Resources: MOPF organizes ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw

The Ministry of Planning and Finance organized a ceremony on Friday to release fingerlings at Mingalar Lake in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw. Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister U Win Shein, along with departmental heads and staff, participated in the event and released over 35,000 fingerlings into the lake.

The ceremony aims to increase fishery resources in the rivers, creeks, and dams within the Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, preventing the depletion of fish species and ensuring the sustainability of fish resources in natural lakes and ponds. Additionally, it supports boosting the production of fishery products and maintaining a balanced ecosystem between mankind and the natural environment.
