Enhancing Agricultural Capacity: Work coordination meeting for Hybrid Crop Training

A work coordination meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation on April 11th, to discuss plans for conducting capacity building training on hybrid crop species.
Deputy Minister Dr. Tin Htut underscored the importance of comprehending fundamental concepts in plant cultivation, alongside modern techniques. He emphasized the imperative for participants to effectively apply the knowledge gained towards the development of new crop varieties, and subsequently, disseminate these high-quality species to farmers.
The training initiative aims to ensure food sufficiency, promote nutritional lifestyles, and elevate the production of premium agricultural products.
Additionally, it seeks to enhance the capabilities of staff engaged in the generation of new crop varieties through research endeavors. Scheduled for May, the training will be facilitated online by the Agriculture Research Department.
