Engineering Education: Taunggyi Technological University organizes a Project Show

Hailing the Shan State Day, Taunggyi Technological University organized a Project Show at the Convocation Hall on Friday.

Chief Minister U Aung Aung visited the university and viewed the display of projects by the students. Established in 1992 as the Technical Institute, it has been upgraded to the college and university levels gradually.

Throughout its 33 years tenure, the university has turned out over 3,500 Bachelor and Master’s Degree Holders. In 2024-2025 academic year, the university accepted 201 students who completed KG+12 education, and more than 1,400 students are now attending the under-graduate and post-graduate courses at the university.

The syllabus of the university includes six subjects recognized by the Myanmar Engineering Council, and efforts are being made to establish as the Outcome Based Education facility.
