Energy Sector: MoE Union Minister held talk with Russian delegation

Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin received a delegation led by Mr. SHATIROV Sergey Vladimirovich, Coordinator of the Fund RC-Investments and Advisor to the assistant to the President-Secretary of the State Council of the Russian Federation at the meeting hall of the office of the Union Minister for the Ministry of Energy in the morning on 8th November.

At the meeting, both sides cordially exchanged viewed on the matters of Energy cooperation between Myanmar Russian Federation, acquiring technical assistance and Digital Monitoring Software to be able to use in the industries of onshore and off-shore petroleum and natural gas exploration, drilling and production, enhancement of oil extraction for decreasing onshore blocks and prospective oil field with the collaboration of Russian Energy companies, providing technical assistance and investment regarding with coal bed methane and the upgrading and technological assistances for oil refinery and fertilizer factory.
