






The Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin held a meeting on the technological issues for thermoregulated distribution to the Compressed Natural Gas – CNG stations for the convenience of the public transportation sector at Myanmar Oil&GasEnterprise (Lower Myanmar) No.47,SeinLaeMayYeik Thar Lane, Yankin, Yangon Region on 18th December.
First, the General Manager clarified the status of distribution by 41 CNG stations for the public transportation sector, coordinating with Yangon Electricity Corporation to access regular electricity supply for enabling to distribute in full capacity, the limited distribution of CNG with the reserve generator, status of distributing CNG with cheaper price for the public transportation sector and the implementation of educating to the public using Mobile Application for the fulfilling CNG, resolving technical issue for the thermal regulated distribution of off-shore and in-land natural gas and the status of reducing queues at 50% in 41 CNG stations during September and this December.
In responding to the clarifications, the Union Minister gave necessary instruction and to operate the oil refineries under the Ministry in full capacity and upgrade to produce fuel and petroleum products as quickly as possible as directed by the head of State, discussion with the investment and technological cooperation organizations, detail observation of requirements for repairing the refinery and speedy renovation and repairing and training for the human resources development in the production and distribution.
After the meeting, the Union Minister awarded prizes to the technical group of thermal regulated distribution to the CNG stations.
