




Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin visited the Htauk Sharpin-Htan Kaing-Yaynan Ma Oil Field under Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise on September 16th. During the visit, officials provided a detailed overview of the Oil Field, the drilling process, challenges, and the potential for oil and natural gas deposits underground.
The Union Minister emphasized the need to explore new opportunities for extended production while maintaining current levels. Additionally, the Union Minister inspected the drilling process of No. 885 oil well and later visited the Man Oil Field, where he received updates on the Water Injection Project and future plans.
He encouraged increased production of oil and natural gas to support the state's development initiatives. Furthermore, Union Minister U Ko Ko Lwin met with staff and families to discuss their needs in terms of education, health, and welfare activities.
They then visited No.1 Liquefied Petroleum Gas Plant (Minbuu), where the Union Minister provided instructions regarding maintenance, distribution plans, and welfare activities.
