






The Myanmar Equestrian Federation is actively preparing for participation in the South East Asian Games to be held in Thailand in 2025.
With the primary goal of developing equestrian sports to international standards, the federation organized the FEI 1* (One-Star) Qualification (Round 1) 50-kilometer Endurance, in Nay Pyi Taw. The competition, held at Ottarathiri Equestrian Ground, was inaugurated by Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan. During his visit, Minister U Min Thein Zan also conducted an inspection of the stables and emphasized the importance of systematic horse care and the renovation of equestrian facilities.
In the first round of the competition, participants completed a 25-kilometer ride. Before commencing the second round, the horses underwent stamina and heartbeat check-ups. A total of 23 pairs from Meiktila Riding Club, Mo Riding Club, Nay Pyi Taw Riding Club, and YECC Riding Club participated in this event.
This was followed by the certificate awarding ceremony, with a speech by the Chairman of the Federation. The completion certificates were presented to the 14 equestrian pairs who emerged victorious in the Qualification Round.
The federation has plans to organize four rounds of Endurance Qualification for equestrians and their horses to help them achieve a 1* level in the sport.
