Encouraging basic foods sale: Mon State CM encouraged the sale of basic foodstuff

With the organizing of the Mon State Government, under the collaboration of the entrepreneurs and departments, selling of basic food stuff including rice, edible oil, meat, fish, egg and vegetables by growers and distributers with the reasonable prices to the public as well as in the campus of MawlaMyaing Education Degree College on Monday morning.

The basic foodstuff sale in the campus of MawlaMyaing Education Degree College was viewed by the Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, Ministers of State Government and officials gave necessary instructions.

On the same day, the opening ceremony for the State-Level Natural Disaster Management training course 1/2024 was held at the State Hall in MawlaMyaing Township and it was attended by Mon State Chief Minister in his capacity as the Chairman of the Mon State Natural Disaster Management Committee U Aung Kyi Thein. 

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Committee urged trainees to effectively use the knowledge on the natural disaster gained from the course to protect from the losses of lives and properties of residents in their assigned areas.

Next, official from the Disaster Management Department briefed the purpose of opening the course, State Chief Minister provided 1 million kyats of cash assistance for the trainees, took a documentary group photo and cordially greeted the trainees.

The basic training course of State-Level Natural Disaster Management 1/2024 will take place for 5 days and a total of 50 State-Level departmental personnel will participate in the training.
