




Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung inspected the preparation measures for the upcoming fifth National Sports Festival on Thursday.
At the Nay Pyi Taw Transit Camp, the Union Minister met with the students from the University for the Development of the National Races for the Union and Nationalities Youths Resource Development Degree College from Yangon and Sagaing who are going to participate in the opening ceremony of the festival, and provided cash assistance.
The Union Minister and party also visited the Stadium in Pyimana, Basic Education High School No.7 and WunnaTheikdi Stadium and oversaw the atheletes undergoing training for SepakTakaraw, Football and Futsal, providing cash and nutrition.
During the visit, the Union Minister instructed to try their best with sportsmanship for bringing prestige to the ministry. A total of 105 athletes from the Ministry of Border Affairs will participate in five sports event of the upcoming National Sports Festival.
