Emmanuel Macron hosts Alassane Ouattara, the president of Ivory Coast

French President Emmanuel Macron hosted Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara for a working dinner at the Élysée Palace on Tuesday.

This reception took place in the context of a series of meetings Macron held with several African leaders at the Élysée that week, including discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and regional cooperation. Given Côte d’Ivoire’s role as a strategic ally in West Africa, both leaders were expected to reaffirm commitments to deepening political and economic cooperation.
