Emergency workers respond after tornado in southern Chile

Emergency workers responded after a tornado hit the city of Puerto Varas in southern Chile, leaving eight people injured and about 150 homes affected, according to authorities. The tornado that hit Puerto Varas, almost 1,000 km south of Santiago, was classified as category EF-1, the second least intense on the Fujita scale.
