Embassy Visit: SAC Chairman visits Myanmar Embassy in Moscow

During the State Visit to Russia, Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited the Myanmar Embassy in Moscow and met with the families of Myanmar Embassy and the Military Attaché Office.

In his speech, the Prime Minister highlighted the fruitful results of the State Visit. He also mentioned the historic friendly relations between Russia and Myanmar, providing assistance to Myanmar’s education and health sectors. The two countries also cooperate in the defense sector, with Myanmar military officers being sent to Russia to develop the human resources needed for the nation and the Tatmadaw.

He added that Russia has always stood by Myanmar in the international arena, stressing that the Ukraine conflict emerged due to actions taken by some countries, which could directly or indirectly impact Russia. The Western countries also instigated the disintegration of the former Soviet Union.

Currently, the situation on the international stage is constantly changing, and the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of noting matters that could benefit the country. He also urged all to strive for increased trade activities between Russia and Myanmar, exporting quality products. During the meeting, the Prime Minister presented foodstuffs and cash rewards to the families of the Myanmar Embassy and the Military Attaché Office.
