Music icon Elton John's personal collection is on display in New York at Christie's before it goes on auction starting February 21. The collection has 950 items from Peachtree Road, his former home in Atlanta, including a piano, a Bansky painting and several of his clothes and shoes. Deputy Chairman of Christie's said that the collection has a low estimate of about $10 million.

Tash Perrin, Deputy Chairman at Christie's said "During Elton's time in Atlanta. It's when he got sober and when he got clean. So he was looking at the world through very different eyes. He was looking at the world and just seeing color and vibrancy and almost like a rebirth. So he had, he collected things that were incredibly colorful. It was the 90s. So, you know, this is a very 90s and very colorful aesthetic to everything that he collected in Atlanta."

Collection of David and Elton spans over 7,000 photographs in their collection and 350 of them are being sold in this sale, she added.
