Elimination Of Opium: Police Force Destroyed Opium Fields In Shan State (South)

The Shan State Chief of Police Force, Police Brigadier General and officials concerned destroyed the thriving opium fields in San Fuu village-tract, Kyaukkachar village, Hopone Township, Pa-O self administered zone, Shan State (South), it’s learnt.

A combined team of police forces led by Shan State Chief of Police Force Police Brigadier General Tin Ko Ko, member of Pa-O self administered zone leading body, Shan State deputy Chief of Police Force, Tatmadawmen led by Capatain Zayyar Win, members of Hopone Township police force and staff members of the township level departments destroyed 32 acres of opium fields.

The opium fields in Hopone Township have been destroying as of November 27, totaling 296 acres of opium fields have been destroyed on the 6th December, according to the office of Hopone (ဟိုပုံး) Township police force.
