Eleven-month-old lioness "Dinka" undergone surgery for squamous cell carcinoma detected at the base of her skull and ear, at the Comprehensive Center for Animal Medicine and Welfare of the Guadalajara Zoo in Guadalajara, Jalisco state, Mexico. The surgery is performed by a human oncologist alongside a team of veterinarians.
