Electrification in Shan State: Deputy Minister makes inspections in Taunggyi

Deputy Minister for Electric Power U Aye Kyaw made inspections in southern Shan State. At the Taunggyi District Electrical Power Engineering office, the Deputy Minister heard report on electricity distribution in the district and electricity bill collection.

In his response, the Deputy Minister stressed the importance of safety, accurate electricity bill collection and record and electrical safety awareness program for the public and coordinated the reports by the officials and staff. And, the Deputy Minister inspected work processes of the Taunggyi District Electrical Power Engineering office, storeroom and staff housing and fulfilled the requirements.
