Electricity Generation: Construction of Solar Power plants inspected

Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han visited 20 megawatt YayPaungSone solar power plant in Thazi Township and BaeLin Solar power plant in Kyaukse Township on Saturday. 

Officials reported on construction progress of power plants and stringing power lines. The Union Minister said the solar power plants generate more electricity due to the installation of the Tracking System.

He stressed the needs to timely completion of the projects to fulfill the electricity demands. The Union Minister and party later inspected the construction works of the solar power plants, control room and switch yard.
