Electric Power Supply: Meeting on distribution of electricity in Magway Region

Union Minister for Eletric Power U Thaung Han attended a meeting on distribution of electricity in the Region at the Magway Region Electrical Engineer Office on 31st March.

At the meeting, the Region Electrical Engineer reported on distribution of electricity, electric power wastage and reduction of power outage, the tasks to be carried out according to fiscal year and future plans.

After that, the Heads of departments and enterprises discussed staff welfare, security measures and electric power distribution.

The Union Minister then stressed the needs on appointment of permanent staffs, pushing to collecting meter bills at full percent, supervision on illegal use of electricity and reducing losses, full security measures to prevent from the destruction of electrical infrastructures that are generating and supplying electricity in the region and solving the difficulties of the staffs by officials.

In response to the reports of the staffs, the Union Minister fulfilled the needs and had a lunch together with Region/District/Township Electrical Engineers and township electrical officers and staffs.
