Electric Power: MOEP Union Minister receives Russian delegation

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun received a Russian delegation from Fund RC-Investments at the Ministry on Saturday.

The delegation is in Myanmar for the 5th Russia-Myanmar Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, held in Nay Pyi Taw on February 22nd and 23rd.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed on successful cooperation between the two countries across various sectors, including Russian involvement in hydropower, wind, solar and thermal power projects and future cooperation in Myanmar's electric power sector.
