Electric Power Distribution: Plans to construct more power sub-stations in Kyauk Phyu

Plans are underway to construct more power sub-stations and power lines to facilitate the Kyauk Phyu Special Economic Zone.   

At present, 230 KV Kyauk Phyu power Sub-Station has been distributing the electric power to Kyauk Phyu township and nearby places through the national grids.  Efforts will be made for better distribution of electric power to the locals.

To provide more electricity, 135MW Kyauk Phyu Power Plant is under the rial operation which is being run by the natural gas and waste energy power. Plans will be made to run the power plant with the use of renewable energy.

Besides, maintaining works for the machines are being implemented for continuous distribution of the electric power to the locals without shortage and less electric power, it’s learnt.
