Electric Power: Discussion on power distribution in Mandalay Region

A coordination meeting on power distribution and electricity billing was held at the Mandalay Electricity Supply Corporation on Saturday.

The meeting was attended by Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han, together with district and township managers, electrical engineers, and the financial in-charge.

The Union Minister heard reports from officials regarding electricity accessibility, power outages and curtailment, power distribution, usage and allocation conditions, as well as the collection of electricity bills.

The Union Minister emphasized the importance of adhering to financial regulations and implementing systematic collection of electricity bills. He instructed the officials to compile a list of electric meter categories for each township.

After the meeting, the Union Minister visited the Takhundaing Main Power Sub-station to inspect the power distribution process.
