Election in Wakema : MOIP Union Minister visits polling booths in Wakema

Chairman of the Central Committee on Supervising Ground Census Enumeration Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing visited polling stations in Wakema Township of Ayeyarwady Region on Sunday, to observe and encourage voters participating in the Phase II of multi-party democracy general election.

Accompanied by officials, the Union Minister toured polling stations in Kyonemange, Mya Sein, Hlay Kyin, and Sayaykone wards.

He observed voters casting their ballots peacefully and provided necessary support. The Union Minister later visited the Wakema Township election administration office at Shwe Khae Thiri Sports Hall, where officials briefed on voting procedures and post-poll processes. He coordinated further arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the election.
