Election study tour: UEC Chairman to observe Presidential election of Russia

At the invitation of the Chairman of Central Election Commission of Rusian Federation to observe the Presidential Election of the Russian Federation and to attend the International Scientific and Practical Conference, Myanmar delegation led by the Chairman of Union Election Commission U Ko Ko departed Mandalay International Airport for Mosco by air at 4:10 PM on 12th March and was seen off by Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung and region ministers, UEC member U Than Aung Kyaw and officials from Mandalay Sub Election Commistion at the Airport.

By observing the Presidential Election of Russian Federation and by attending the International Scientific and Practical Conference, the UEC will have the opportunites to study the election holding system, election management methods, technological utilization in the election of Russian Federaton as well as the chances to exchange views among the international election observers and sharing experiences. The study tour will last from 12th to 20th March, 2024, it’s learnt.
