Election in Mandalay: Over 1,000 polling stations opened in Mandalay Region

The Phase II of multi-party democratic general election was held on Sunday from 6:00 a.m. in nine townships of Mandalay Region, where voters freely cast their ballots at designated polling stations.

Chief Minister U Myo Aung, accompanied by regional ministers and officials, visited polling stations to observe and encourage voters. He inspected polling stations in Maha Aung Myay, Pyigyitagon, Amarapura, Sintgaing, and Tada-U Townships, noting the peaceful and orderly voting process and the support provided by election staff. In Mandalay Region, over 1 million eligible voters are voting at 1,073 polling stations across the nine townships participating in Phase II of the election.
