Egypt's Sisi welcomes Brazilian President Lula in Cairo

Egypt's President El-Sisi received his Brazilian counterpart President Lula on Thursday in a visit that marks 100 years of diplomatic relations between both countries.

In their Cairo meeting, Sisi and Lula will discuss the special Egyptian-Brazilian relations and their joint coordination in international events and forums. Lula's visit to Egypt is taking place shortly after Brazil has invited Egypt to attend the G20 meetings during Brazil's presidency of the group.
