Egyptian President and Spanish King reaffirm support for Palestinian cause

Spanish King Felipe VI welcomed and holds a lunch in honour of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in the Royal Palace of Madrid.

Al-Sisi used the meeting to thank Spain for working with Egypt on "supporting the Palestinian cause", and on helping to find a "two-state solution to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict". Al-Sisi also discussed the Gaza war with the Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez earlier Wednesday.
