Efforts for Women Development: MSWRR Union Minister inspects center in Yangon

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Soe Win on Sunday afternoon inspected the Women Development Center under the Department of Social Welfare in Yangon.

During the inspection, the Union Minister heard reports on mattters including vocational training and manufacturing activities. In his response, the Union Minister urged concerned officials to help those completing nursing aid training attend advance course, to create job opportunities for trainees and to open suitable domestic job training.

There, he also gave instruction regarding renovation of the old 2-storey building. And, the Union Minister inspected the weaving workshop, sewing room and sales shop before holding talks with trainees.

It’s reported that currently, the Yangon Region Women Development Center has been taking care of 141 persons.
