Efforts Towards Development Goals: National Planning Commission meeting in Nay Pyi Taw

The National Planning Commission held its meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday, with the attendance of Commission Chairman and State Administration Council Chairman, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. In his address, the Prime Minister emphasized the government's commitment to implementing future plans in a phased manner, exerting all-out efforts for the successful achievement of objectives.

Despite these efforts, regional development has not yet met expectations, primarily due to terrorist acts, including transportation blockades and hindrances in production and commodity flow. The Prime Minister urged all attendees to maintain an accelerated momentum for the success of national projects in the upcoming 2024-2025 fiscal year, in line with the motto "Marching towards the goal."

Vice Chairman of the Commission, Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win also made discussion, urging all concerned officials to make collaborative efforts in maintaining the existing economic growth, while striving for improvement with the effective usage of resources.

The meeting continued with an assessment of the implementation of national projects in the 2023-2024 fiscal year, clarification on the draft of the national project for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, the National Planning Bill for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, targeted national projects for each fiscal year, and the execution of these projects. The Prime Minister stressed the need to implement the projects successfully within their responsibilities, while striving for stability, prosperity, and development through collective vigilance.
