Efforts for Rural Development: Union Minister makes inspections in Yangon Region

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe on called for cooperation from locals for rural development in KanPyaung Smart Village in Kyauktan Township of Yangon Region. There, the Union Minister also heard reports on monsoon paddy cultivation and rural development works.
In his response, the Union Minister called for establishment of cooperative enterprise and coordinated with concerned officials for rural road, transport road and agricultural water and techniques issues. And, the Union Minister inspected water access project, road and drainage constructions and a piggery and gave necessary instructions.
On the same day, the Union Minister visited the University of Co-operative and Management (Thanlyin) and inspected construction of the 1,440 feet long path construction with the Yangon Region Government budget of 450 million Kyats, construction work of Social Innovation Support Unit Center and arch and gate construction.
And, the Union Minister stressed the importance of timely completion, quality construction and workplace safety.
