Efforts for Rural Development: SAC member and Union Minister met with the personnel

Member of State Administration Council U Maung Ko and the Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe met with the personnel from the Department of Rural Development at the office of department in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region in the morning on March 19.

At the meeting, first, the SAC member U Maung Ko instructed to implement market economic system successfully, observe the technologies and methods of agricultural and livestock breeding adopting in other countries and carry out to be conformity with the country and put efforts to facilitate more development and success of MSMEs for the socio-economic development and increasing family income of the rural population.

The Union Minister instructed to use pedigree seeds, supply irrigation water, provide inputs, develop model farming system and market penetration, giving training courses for production of value-added products based on the local produces by the directorate of small scale industries, establishment of model villages and the collaboration of departments.Next, the work implementations clarified by the officials from the departments were heard and the requirements for the personnel were fulfilled.
