Efforts of rural development: MCRD UM attended opening ceremonies in AYA Region

As a gesture of hailing and honoring the 77th Union Day, the opening ceremonies of Thahtaygone-Tarpyat-WaYonSu Village Solar Mini-Grid Electrification Work Process in Kyaiklatt Township, Inter-Village Bridge on ThaLeikKyi-TooMyaung-JowaKyanKhin Inter-Village Road in Pyapon Township and GwayChaungGyi Bridge in the morning on February 6.

First, the Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, Ayeyawaddy Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win, region ministers and officials attended the opening ceremony of Thahtaygone-Tarpyat-WaYonSu Village Solar Mini-Grid Electrification Work Process in Kyaiklatt Township.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister U Hla Moe said that  As a gesture of hailing and honoring the 77th Union Day, it’s the opening ceremony of Thahtaygone-Tarpyat-WaYonSu  Village Solar Mini-Grid Electrification Work Process. 

The ZLT Super Electrical Company is responsible for the construction of Thahtaygone-Tarpyat-WaYonSu Village Solar Mini-Grid System Electrification Work Process. In the Solar Mini-Grid System Electrification, it’s included 168.96 Kilo Watt and 112 Kilo Watt from reserve Diesel Engine system with 60% of cost from State Fund, 20% contribution of Village population and 20% of contribution by the company.

Next, the Ayeyawaddy Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win gave a remark on the Village electrification. ZLT Super Electrical Company Limited Managing Director clarified that this Solar Mini-Grid System is the Grid Ready System, Prepaid Smart Meter System and  status of work implementation.

One of local residents showed commitment to retain the electrification collectively and pick up the designated electricity bill. Then, the Union Minister, Chief Minister, region Minister for security and border affairs, permanent secretary of MCRD and official from ZLT Super Electrical Company opened the solar mini grid system electrification by cutting ribbon, sprinkled the Power plant inscription with scented water and inspected the Power plant and Power line installation in the Village.

Afterward, the Union Minister and Chief Minister and party attended the opening ceremony of Inter-Village Bridge on ThaLeikKyi-TooMyaung-JowaKyanKhin Inter-Village Road in Pyapon Township. On the occasion, the Union Minister U Hla Moe and Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win gave the opening remarks.

After clarifying the status of constructing the Bridge by the Chief Inspector General of the Department of Rural Road Development, one of the local residents expressed words of thanks. Then, the Union Minister, Chief Minister, region Minister for security and border affairs, permanent secretary of MCRD and Director General opened the bridge by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and the guests sprinkled the bridge stone inscription with Scented water.

Later, the Union Minister, Chief minister and party arrived at the opening ceremony of new concrete bridge at the entrance of Gway Chaung Gyi Village, the Union Minister, Chief Minister, region Minister for security and border affairs, permanent secretary of MCRD and Director General  opened the bridge by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and inspected the bridge by walking on it.

After the ceremony, the Union Minister, Chief Minister and party met with local residents at the temporary briefing hall, clarified the work implementation of the Ministry and coordinated requirements on the reports of the local residents.
